Black Men Ventures founding member Shawn Williams recently represented BMV at HubSpot, serving as moderator for a panel discussion entitled Disrupting the VC World.
Williams facilitated a discussion with Backstage Capital’s Arlan Hamilton, Impact X Capital’s Yvonne Bajela and Nicole Crentsil of ADA Ventures and Black Girl Fest. The conversation was sponsored by Black@Inbound Community, a HubSpot initiative that creates space for Black business professionals to connect. HubSpot CEO and co-founder Brian Halligan has spoken openly about HubSpot’s commitment to both dismantling systemic racism and supporting Black-owned businesses.
